our story
Like the formation of many businesses, our internet marketing company was borne out of frustration with the current marketing services on offer. It all began when the founder, Max Worton, started working as a freelance marketer.
At the time Max was in charge of marketing for a small software company. Like many companies do, he called a number of firms for quotes on providing marketing services. With a tight marketing budget most of the services proved far too expensive, and would only provide a solution for a couple of months.
After numerous calls, Max decided to use the services of freelance internet marketing consultant, who claimed he could provide an ongoing marketing solution using the internet. Max hired the freelance internet marketing consultant, and two months and thousands of pounds later, he had started to attract leads via the web site.
Having seen this marketing channel working, Max decided to improve this and hire another internet marketing consultant. then another. After many tire some hours of combining the skills of each internet marketing consultant, Max built an internet marketing report that would help the software company generate targeted website traffic.
As more people learned about this report, particulary small business owners, Max formed a web site to explain his services. In 2007, the internet marketing company " Web Efforts" was formed providing three affordable internet marketing packages aimed at small businesses.
For larger firms, Max still takes on bespoke SEO projects.
